These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FridgeToMeal and related mobile and web services (collectively, the "Services").

By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. For iOS users, the Apple Standard End User License Agreement also applies: Apple Standard EULA.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must be old enough to use the Services under the laws of your country or region.
• You are responsible for maintaining account security and providing accurate account information.
• You may not use the Services if you are prohibited from doing so by applicable law.

2. Service Description

FridgeToMeal provides AI-powered tools that help identify food products from photos and generate recipe ideas based on ingredients you provide. The Services offer recipe ideas only and do not provide medical, dietary, nutritional, or professional advice. AI-generated recognition and recipes may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your needs.

3. Food, Allergy, and Health Disclaimer

• The Services do not provide medical, dietary, nutritional, or professional cooking advice.
• You are responsible for checking ingredients, allergens, freshness, cooking times, and food safety.
• AI can make mistakes in product recognition and recipe suggestions.
• You must verify ingredients before preparing or eating any recipe.
• Do not rely on the Services for allergy, medical, or emergency decisions.
• If you have a medical condition or dietary restriction, consult a qualified professional.

4. Subscriptions

Some features may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.

5. User Content

You retain rights to photos, product lists, and other content you submit, but grant us a limited license to process that content to provide, maintain, and improve the Services. You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to content you upload or submit.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Services, including by:

• Violating laws or the rights of others.
• Submitting unlawful, abusive, exploitative, or harmful content.
• Attempting unauthorized access, scraping, reverse engineering, or security testing.
• Interfering with platform integrity, availability, or performance.

7. Service Changes and Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services at any time. We do not guarantee that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

8. Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data from the app profile screen. If you need help, contact support@fridgetomeal.app. Deleting your account removes account data and saved recipe history unless retention is required by law or for legitimate security, fraud prevention, or compliance purposes.

9. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, FridgeToMeal is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, goodwill, or food-related outcomes arising from use of the Services.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the jurisdiction where FridgeToMeal operates, unless otherwise required by mandatory local law.
